No signup, no personal details, no recovery address. The inbox exists the moment you ask for it.
Temporary email for operational work
Stay anonymous. Disposable by design.
Keep your primary address away from spam, tracking, and data breaches. Pick a domain, create an account, then read incoming mail in a temporary inbox.
An address is only created when you press the button - nothing is provisioned before that.
So you can verify at speed and stay invisible.
Lifetime and extension are read from the service's current settings.
At expiry the address stops receiving mail and you lose access to it. Extend only for as long as you need it.
Need the address for longer? Extend it from the inbox. Past that cap the address expires all the same.
Private by construction. Disposable by design.
No account, no history
A fresh address is ready in seconds, with nothing tied to a real identity and no sign-up to lose track of.
Expires on its own
Every mailbox has a lifetime. When it ends, the address stops receiving mail and you lose access to it. What it received is kept for administrative audit and removed when storage requires it.
Built for the moment it is needed
Verify a sign-up, receive a one-time code, test a form - then let the address expire once the job is done.
Why use TempMail
Built for verification, testing, and sign-ups that have no business touching your real address.
Your real identity stays out of it
Use a temporary address for OTP codes, app testing, and forum registrations without exposing your primary inbox to spam.
Expires on its own
Every inbox has a lifetime. When it ends, the address stops receiving mail and you lose access to it. What it received is kept for administrative audit and removed when storage requires it.
Forwarding the destination agrees to
Forward incoming mail to another address, set up from the inbox. Nothing is forwarded until whoever holds that address opens a confirmation link we email to it.
Custom domains for partners
Partners can run temporary email on their own domains and manage the accounts from a separate portal.
Secure rendering
HTML is sanitised, remote images are blocked by default, and one-time codes are surfaced without opening the message body.
Partner and integration API
For partners and internal integrations: provision addresses and read messages over a documented REST interface. Access is arranged with us - there is no self-service public key.
Four steps
Pick a domain and alias
Take the random alias the system prepares, or set your own along with its password.
Press create
The account is created right then, and you land in the inbox already signed in.
Receive and read
Incoming mail shows up in the inbox. Keep the credentials if you want to reopen the same inbox later.
Walk away
When the lifetime ends, the address stops receiving mail and you lose access to it. Messages already received are kept for administrative audit. Or generate a new address and start clean.
TipKeep your address and password - an inbox is reopened from the sign-in page, not from this browser alone.
What to know
A temporary address is for things that are genuinely disposable. Don't use one for banking, official identity, or anything whose recovery depends on that mailbox.
FAQ
How long does a temporary address last?
72 hours from creation by default. An administrator can change that value, and your account's expiry is always shown on the inbox page.
Can I reopen an inbox I created earlier?
Yes, as long as its lifetime hasn't expired. Go to the Inbox page and enter the full address along with its password. This is why you should keep the password shown when the account was created - it is not shown again.
Why isn't an address created as soon as the page loads?
Because creating an account for every visitor - including search engine crawlers and people who close the page immediately - wastes server capacity and database rows. An account is now only created when you press the button.
Can my mail be forwarded elsewhere?
Yes, set up from the inbox page rather than while the account is being created. Enter a destination address and we email one confirmation link to it; until whoever holds that address opens the link, nothing is forwarded. One inbox may have at most 3 destinations.
What exactly gets forwarded?
A readable copy of the message: the sender, the subject, the plain-text body, and the names of any attachments. The attachments themselves are not forwarded - the original files stay in the temporary inbox and can only be downloaded from there. A long body is trimmed.
Is it safe to open message content?
Message content is sanitized server-side to strip scripts and event handlers, then rendered inside an isolated frame where it cannot execute code or read page data. Links inside an email still need your own judgement before you click them.
How many accounts can I create?
There is a per-IP limit on accounts created within 24 hours, set by an administrator. If you hit it, wait a while before creating the next one.
Is this end-to-end encrypted?
No. Incoming mail is stored in a form the system can read and is technically accessible to service administrators. Don't use a temporary address for confidential information.
How do I use my own domain?
Contact us about a partner account. An administrator creates it, after which you can register your own domains and manage the email accounts under them from the partner portal.
