What we store when you create a temporary address, how long it is kept, and when it is removed.

What we store

When you create a temporary address we store the address created, the domain chosen, the creation time, the expiry time, and the creating IP address. The IP is kept to enforce the per-IP account creation limit and to handle abuse.

Mail arriving at that address is stored along with its sender, subject, body, and attachments. It stays available to you until the account expires or you delete it, and is then kept for administrative audit as described under retention.

What we don't do

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use message content for profiling or advertising.

Message content is not end-to-end encrypted

Stated plainly: incoming mail is stored in a form the system can read, and service administrators can technically access it. This service provides no end-to-end encryption. Do not send or receive confidential information through a temporary address.

Retention and storage

An account stops receiving mail and becomes inaccessible to you once its lifetime ends - 168 hours from creation by default. The messages and attachments it received are kept for administrative audit and are removed when storage requires it. You can still delete your own messages or your mailbox at any time before it expires.

Activity records

We record operational activity such as account creation, sign-in attempts, and mail receipt for audit and abuse handling. These records include a timestamp, the type of activity, and an IP address.
